Alicia August-Wright is the founder and creative force behind A’Vents by August (ABA), a full-service event production company established in 2009. With a foundation in corporate planning and project management, Alicia turned her passion for hospitality, creativity, and community into a thriving business. She has crafted memorable experiences for clients like Discover, Nike, Google, the University of Chicago, and the Obama Foundation.
Alicia’s work goes beyond events—she creates spaces that connect, celebrate culture, and inspire growth. Known for her hands-on approach and commitment to authenticity, she blends her self-taught skills with a visionary outlook, pushing boundaries to turn every event into an impactful story.
